Tune-ups

• Safety tune* $30.00 – Clean drive train, adjust brakes and shifting, tighten adjust necessary points as needed, lube
• Midgrade Tune* $65.00 – Deeper clean of drive train, adjust brakes and shifting, tighten adjust necessary points as needed, lube, basic true of wheels as needed
• Primo tune* $95.00 – Detail clean of bike and intense clean of drive train, adjust brakes and shifting replace cables if needed, tighten adjust necessary points as needed, lube, true of wheels as needed
• Super Primo* $130.00 – Our complete pull apart degrease, and regrease headset, bottom bracket, hubs. Replace cables, housing, brake pads, true wheels, adjust tighten, and shine! A brand new bike with a showroom finish

Repairs & Rebuilds

• Repairs are quoted as the bicycle technician estimates suggests needs. Shop time is $35.00 per hour
• Parts are sold separately, and are not included in the Safety, Mid, Primo (cables are added in the Primo price), Repairs, Restorations, and Rebuilds. The Super Primo - parts, cables, housing, brakes, grease, are included within the price.

Restorations

• We take great pride in restoring your vintage, classic, and most beloved bikes. We guaranty that you will truly appreciate our efforts in bringing back the original look.
• Restorations start at * $$150.00

Wheel Builds, Truing, Spoke replacement

•  Wheel truing* starts at $20.00 – Add $5.00 per spoke replacement up to 4 spokes. At 5 spokes its considered a complete build.
•  Wheel builds* $50.00 to $75.00 depending on lacing requests, * this is labor cost only, and does not include materials per build

We are a cash or trade company, please be prepared at the time of your pickup. We are a all for profit, which means: We need to always trade up in value for parts, without profits we can not survive so that you will always have a community bike shop that provides value, rare, and hard to find parts for all models, years, and classifications.

We value your patronage and will do the best we can for you and your bike every time. Please respect the shop!

All bike left at the BPA shop for more than 15 days after we are completed with the service and we’ve notified you. Will be charged $5.00 per day for storage fee’s. After due notice by BPA and 30 days have passed the bike by law will be the considered property of the Bicycle Pull Apart.

What is our custom build?

Our builds a range from the vantage children’s bike, to the ultimate racing road bike. We’ve built track bike’s to classic cruisers, city mashers, and a Frankenstein bike that would make even the snobbish of bike nerd stop and say “wow”! There is no job we wont think twice about; unless it’s under $300.00.

That is generally our starting price, this guaranties that you will get the bike of your dreams. As well it provides insurance on both ends that; we will take the necessary time in building your bike and back it with a warranty. The warranty and price will assure you that its going to get done right and safe. It’s a process that in the end will provide some knowledge of bike maintenance 101. As well you will know your bike and its parts which will instill confidence, independence, and above all style! It will be an original, its yours and its you!!

We truly realize the impact and importance of having rental bikes available to the locals, our customers, and tourist. That means every hotel guest and visitor wanting a healthy, easy, safe, and dependable way to sight see. Bicycling is the best and most efficient way to get as many things in as Seattle has to offer.

We have a wide variety of bikes and sizes from road bikes, to mountain, hybrid, cruiser’s, bmx, and pedicab service and tours. Great for the physically impaired or for those that want the fresh air and the wind in their hair, but just want to relax and not pedal.

Our rental rates are:
$10.00 per hour

*Rental rates rise $10.00 more if requesting an elite bike model.

$25.00 half day

$35.00 full day

Multi-day , weekly, and by monthly rates are available, reservations are excepted, walk-ins welcome.

Everyone gets a helmet, bike lock, and a map of King County’s bike trails, also we provide free road side maintenance and service were ever you may be. With a recycled bike, the necessary safety equipment, no fear of a flat tire, and the beautiful green city of Seattle waiting to be discovered, it’s the best decision made easy.

Belltown Pull~Apart, the Bicycle Pull*Apart, or B.P.A. Seattle, what ever you want to call us, you can, and we will be that. That is, available to you, you being the good masses of people who work, play, live, or a do any combination of the above. We are now in our fourth year and in our third space in the Seattle core, and hopefully our last for a long time to come. In our pursuit to providing quality, affordable, and a style of bike that screams personal, individual, independent, and original.

We are a Recycled bike evolution, created in the spirit of small, locally owned, community responsible, environmentally motivated, and human conscious business. The seed was planted in the Belltown neighborhood, cultivated by its first venture into facilitating and supporting the Re~development of Seattle’s downtown transportation needs. In Rainier Rickshaw and Seattle pedal cabs, pedicab companies created, developed, and built by former president and present founder, owner/operator of BPA (Bikes + Art) Pedal Cabs, and BPAseattle (the Bicycle Pull*Apart); Eric Patchen.

As BPA grew and developed into a community bike shop, Eric realized the immediate, and long-term impact a positive and an all-inclusive recycled built bike shop has in its community. A sustainable, available, and diverse shop that specializes in bikes, art, music, and our neighborhood. It will change the atmosphere, the mood, and the confidence of the shops surroundings. It was proven by the Bicycle Pull*Apart and bikes; yes, bikes of all types, styles, levels of price, skill, and commitment. Tune-ups, repairs, are done here as well, we buy bikes from those that are wanting or needing to find a good home for their bike because of whatever reason, as long as it’s not stolen we can help. We trade bikes, and bike parts, move up, lateral, or get down with what ever you desire. We put our negotiating cap on and get to haggling third world style. We also sell, sell, and sell, bikes, parts, accessories, and a healthy motivated life style that Washington has to offer.
